Winner of Sierra Guitar in American Songwriter Contest!

Charleston, SC, March 22, 2010 - Sierra Guitars is happy to announce the winner of the free Sierra Cedar Acoustic Dreadnought (SDS43) given away through American Songwriter Magazine's January/February "On My Deathbed" Contest. The winner is Andrew Scott Wills, a guitarist and songwriter from Gallipolis, OH.

To be eligible, contestants simply had to tell American Songwriter Magazine the ten records they couldn't live without for the chance to win a Sierra Sequoia Cedar Acoustic Dreadnought Guitar! Andrew's top ten albums included: Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon and Garfunkel, The Last DJ by Tom Petty, American IV: The Man Comes Around by Johnny Cash, August and Everything After by Counting Crows, Birmingham Road by Jeff Black, Much Afraid by Jars of Clay, Modern Times by Bob Dylan, The Times They Are a Changin' by Bob Dylan, Somedays the Song Writes You by Guy Clark, and Hello Dolly by Louis Armstrong.

After receiving his new Sierra SDS43, Andrew Scott Wills stated, "I love my new Sierra Sequoia guitar. It has a warm, homey tone and it's just crisp enough that you don't lose your highs. It has a nice low action, quality tuners and plays just as easily as my Gibson. The day I got it in the mail I wrote a song on it that my publisher is going crazy over right now. We're getting along well!" Learn more about Andrew Wills at www.andrewscottwills.com

The Sequoia Cedar Acoustic Dreadnought (SDS43) features a beautiful and unique solid cedar top with mahogany back and sides. Created with a traditional guitar shape, this acoustic dreadnought guitar offers a warm and responsive sound. The conical shaped 12th fret inlay is designed to emulate the power and strength of the Great Sequoia tree.
