The Alpine acoustic-electric guitars are taken from the mold of the Sequoia series, but the Alpine adds a cutaway body design and innovative on-board electronics. The cutaway body style provides increased access to the upper frets, while the natural sounds of the Alpine series are reproduced by the NEW Barcus-Berry Breeze IV (solid top models) or Breeze II pickup and preamp systems.

I am really just a beginner, but I decided to replace a plywood built beginner model from a different manufacturer. My local music shop had more of the same, except for the high end line which, was way out of my range. While in the next town shopping with my wife, we walked into Shanghai Music in Ponca City,Ok. I fell in love with all the Sierra Guitars there. They were well built, real wood, beautiful looks and sound, at a price I could afford. My SD35CE actually make my miserable attempts to play, sound a lot better. The action is perfect, I can actually Bar the fret board now without any problem. I could not do that on my other brand. I love this Guitar. Thank You Sierra.

When I walked into my local guitar shop, I was not expecting the deal I got on this beautiful guitar.
I am in a local band, Enthusiastic Epidemic, and was looking for something that I could use for recording the natural sound of an acoustic guitar, but I wanted something that had big sound, so I could sit on my deck with my bandmates with our acoustics and some beer. The other guitarist in my band has an acoustic about twice the size of this Sierra, but the sound of the Sierra blows it out of the water. It has AMAZING TONE and great volume.
When I played this guitar, its sound captured me.
At first I was going to buy the biggest/decently priced acoustic/electric in the store. After looking around for about a half an hour I though I was going to have to go somewhere else.
But when the owner showed me this guitar, I played it for another half hour, and then put a payment on it.
I recommend this guitar to any musician looking to find the perfect balance in acoustic and electric guitars.

I will spare y'all the story of why I showed up in Lindale Music, Lindale, Texas, last month immediately in need of a relatively inexpensive acoustic guitar. That was when I first encountered Sierra Guitars and more particularly my own new Alpine SD35CS. I simply wish to tell other potential customers that this guitar produces a sound and tone that in my opinion rivals guitars costing far, far more. I have played it nearly daily for the past month. It really is a big sound for a relatively small price.
