JOAL RUSH
Appeared with Edwin McCAin, Will Hoge and Styx
Since the release of his six song EP Delightful Things in 2004, the buzz about Joal Rush is spreading fast! And it’s a small wonder, as his melodies have a way of latching on to your heartstrings and not letting go. Joal’s music has been described as “melodic and at times moving.” One critic dubbed it “majestic and Buckley-esque”. Joal’s songs echo the powerful lyricism of his influences while maintaining refined intimacy, a combination that when teamed with his passionate delivery creates an inimitable sound greater than the sum of it’s parts.
The Charleston, SC musician has shared then stage with the likes of Edwin McCain, Will Hoge and Styx. Joal has had his music added to XM Radio's Unsigned channel 52 where it has become a fixture of the station and his song Carry On featured on the Awarestore.com EarSnacks Vol. 6 compilation.
After much success with Delightful Things, Joal Rush is back with his second release, Imagination. With this new EP, Joal has improved his writing style, giving the songs an imagination more power than before. Joal continues to spread his music through various channels establishing himself as one of the Southeast’s premier artists.
